It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot
and the wind blows cold:
when it is summer in light, and winter in shade.

New addition for the woodland corner of our garden,
Helleborus, Lenten Rose.
This is an Indian Plum bush. It's one of the very first plants
to bloom here in the spring. The leaves come out first, then the
blossoms dangle down from the leaf. To me it looks like little
fairies fluttering all over the bush.

Riffe Lake - It's drained quit low at this time of year,
ready for snow run off.
Some of the stumps where huge.

Hard to believe this will soon be under water.
