Thank you Rawja. The tree is an oak. The leaves are actually more a rusty color than pink. Must be the fog that made them look pinkish.
Rawja, I made a mistake in the type of tree this is. It's a maple. Most of the leaves have fallen and there's a lovely rusty color all over the ground. :)
